Went for help, left feeling dismissed and hurt

I had a very bad experience with this GP. During my appointments, I was never physically examined, despite coming in with severe pain related to a chronic illness. The doctor never got out of her chair to perform even basic checks or examinations.

Instead, I was repeatedly told to wait for months without any proper assessment or attempt to understand my condition. When I returned because the pain continued, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to my weight and lifestyle. I was also made to feel as if the pain was “just in my head” or something I was exaggerating.

This experience was both hurtful and discouraging. I went to my GP seeking help and support, but was met with a lack of empathy, poor communication, and no meaningful medical follow-up. As a patient, I expect my symptoms to be taken seriously and to be examined when I present with ongoing pain. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this doctor.
