Dario Besirevic

Dario is one of the best doctors I've had. I switched to him after being assigned a fastlege who did not take me seriously. He really listens to you, takes your concerns and pain seriously, will not dismiss things that other doctors in the past have written off and has a positive and humorous bedside manner that puts one at ease.

I could not recommend him more highly. He handles both psychological and physical concerns with care and empathy. I had to move to another area of Norway and the first thing I thought when I found out is that I was sad that I would have to change my fastlege.

He is very good at following up on concerns and referring to specialists for issues that require it. He was my fastlege for 3 years and in that time I had a major health scare that he handled with professionalism and speed. He referred me to the hospital when the wait time for a specialist was too long so I could be seen more quickly because my family history put me more at risk that my symptoms might be something life threatening.

Thankfully I was okay but goes to show that his followup and efforts were thorough. He also successfully guided going both onto and then off of two psychological medications with minimal side effects due to his care. I highly recommend him, he is one of the best fastlege in Norway in my opinion.

Dario is great at what he does, and it’s clear he’s in the right profession. I felt like he genuinely listened and took all my concerns seriously without sugarcoating anything. 😊
